Book characters

For the past 4 years, I´ve been writing a book with my wife Anita. It´s an epic story that evolves on a fantasy world. Here are some of the character´s illustrations...


Years ago, my brother Pablo and I started dreaming about this story, with our minds set on making an animation movie picture. But once I met my wife, as we talked about the story and thought about its evolution, it grew so much that we decided to tell it in four books. We are still writing the first book, but it is slowly coming alive...

There are magicians and humans among the characters, but there are also other species, beeings, plants and animals that live in this imaginary world. As we live in the argentinian Patagonia, it´s landscape became the ideal inspiration for this story. The southern lanscape of Argentina has been an inspiration for our writings since the beginning of the national literature.
Although today the story is shaping into a book, as an illustrator, it was impossible for me not to draw these characters that I´ve come to love so much.

This is a `líkere´. It is the race, to which the main character of the first book belongs. They live by the sea, lake and river shores. They are very capable fishers and business people.

This is a `tejne´, a warrior race, very important on the events of the whole story. This picture illustrates a scene on the outcome of the first book, which is a great battle.

Nanvk is one of the main earthly divinities that communicates with the nature beeings.

Ajne is also a `tejne´. She´s the other main character from the first book. She´s very strong and determined and she´s responsible for a very importante mission set to save her people.
